Well is it a Mac with an INTEL processor if so then its not emulation you will need. Check out these products, both have free trials.
Parallels Desktop:
http://www.parallels.com/
Fusion:
http://www.vmware.com/products/fusion/
You will need a windows OS CD with serial#.
If its a Power PC Mac i.e G4 or G5 processor then:
You will need an emulator. Its called Virtual PC. But I don’t think its supported anymore. Microsoft makes it.
There are several options:
If you have a copy of Windows, and think you might want to use other windows applications, you can use an emulator. The two main emulators are VMWare Fusion (http://www.vmware.com/products/fusion/) and Parallels (http://www.parallels.com/). I prefer VMWare as they have been updating their software for free, but the two products are essentially equal. Keep an eye out for coupons from both companies, they are common.
If you do not have Windows, or only want to use office and a few other limited applications, you can use Crossover (http://www.codeweavers.com/products/). This uses WINE, which is technically not an emulator, so you don’t need windows for it to work.
Crossover is a bit cheaper too, and runs a bit better in my experience, and is only $40. Again though: it only works with a limited set of software, while the emulators will work with most anything except for modern games.
(And as everyone else said, you can just buy Office for the Mac.)
easy get office 2008 for mac then don’t need or use emulator
WineHQ

However rather than going through the trouble of using wine to run MS Office 2007, you can instead use MS Office 2008 for Mac.
