On a fundamental level thats not a problem, but it becomes one when you begin running great power to the cabinet. The guitar speakers just aren’t designed to handle them. It will most likely ruin typically the speakers (but they are able to always always be replaced at a cost).
The various problem (perhaps a bigger problem) is that the guitar speakers will not output kids of frequencies required to obtain a great bass sounds sound. it simply can’t be achieved physically. Another way close to (guitar head -> bass cab) could be a different story also it *might* deliver the results.
